The Sangha Council
In the constitution of the Austrian Buddhist Society the Sangha Council is anchored as the co-determining board of the Orders and Dharma groups of the ÖBR.
Every order and dharma group delegates a representative to the Sangha Council. In addition, the chairperson of the Buddhist communities and the executive committee members are each represented with a vote.
The Sangha Council meets every quarter and decides general matters such as the admission of orders and dharma groups.
